{"product_id":"1332303-rivas-department-north-eco-viaje-mapas-map","title":"Rivas Department North","description":"We have spent the last three years searching every inch of the Rivas Department just so you (our wonderful customer!) will have all of that information at your fingertips. To utilize the full benefit of our work, we highly recommend the “Full Rivas Department” map set as it includes one full map of Rivas routes (in three parts), all three detailed Rivas Department maps (South, Central, and North), all insets, and also TEN ADDITIONAL MAPS showcasing our most recommended routes for the hiking, biking, and motorcycling.   \r\n\r\nRivas Department North includes the area between Pica Pica and El Astillero down to the area between San Jorge, Tola, and Gigante. It includes inset maps of Apompua, Astillero, Barrio Nuevo, Belen, Buenos Aires, Cangrejal, Chacalapa, El Coyol, El Limon Dos, Gigante, Ingenio Benjamin Zeledon, Las Banderas, Las Delicias, Las Piedras, Las Salinas, Los Pinos, Nancimi, Popoyo, Potosi, Rivas City, San Jorge, San Juan Viejo, Santa Barbara, and Tola.\r\n\r\nNicaragua is like one giant jungle adventure park. You absolutely need a reliable map in order to navigate which routes are best for safe, speedy travel. You also need to know which routes are best for hiking, mountain biking, motorcycling, and 4wd adventures.  \r\n\r\nAll Eco Travel Maps are created in person. Each and every road, motorcycle route, and hiking trail has been traveled and mapped in person. The businesses have been verified in person. The water crossings, bus stops, and view points all have been noted by a person who is actually standing at these locations.  \r\n\r\nAll Eco Travel Maps display routes in the following categories: Paved Highways (suitable for all vehicles), Dirt Highways (usually suitable for all vehicles), Paved City Roads (suitable for all vehicles), Good Dirt Roads (usually suitable for all 4wd vehicles and motorcycles), Rough Dirt Roads (only suitable for 4wd adventures and advanced motorcycle skills), Motorcycle Routes (only suitable for advanced motorcycle skills), and Foot Paths (not suitable for motorized travel). Please note, during the rainy months of August, September, October, and November all dirt roads and dirt highways become much more difficult.  \r\n\r\nYou cannot feel comfortable exploring a foreign country if you do not know where the essential services are located. All Eco Travel Maps (even the inset maps) display our symbols in meticulously structured legends which have been specifically designed for first world users traveling in third world countries. \r\n\r\nThe symbols are organized in easily referenced shape and color categories which smoothly translate into a variety of languages. Categories include consumables, services, durable goods, administration, professional offices, medical facilities, and transportation repairs. Colors indicate subcategories. For instance, ‘consumables’ are represented by baskets.  A red basket is a pulperia (a small food market) while a blue basket is a bottled water store, and a purple basket is for beans, grains, and rice. The word “consumable” translates to “consummables” in French, “consumibles” in Spanish, and “materiali de consumo” in Italian. \r\n\r\nAnother category is ‘services’ (“servicios” in Spanish, “service” in French, “seirbhis” in Irish, “servizio” in Italian, and “sabisu” in Japanese). Services are represented by triangles.  As you read above, a basket indicates consumables while red indicates food. So, while a red basket is a small food store, a red triangle is a restaurant, and a red shopping cart is a supermarket. If you are looking for food, look for red. If you are looking for services (restaurant, bar, lodging, etc) look for a triangle. \r\n\r\nFinally, you will want to know where all the cool stuff is. Eco Travel Maps shows you where the beaches, parks, views, and waterfalls are, among other things. We have spent the last three years mapping every inch of the Rivas Department. The Full Rivas package of maps is the ultimate collection of information plus you get the bonus of ten extra recommended routes and the three 'routes only' maps which cover the entire department.","brand":"Eco Travel Maps","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":44842342154396,"sku":"1332303","price":26.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0441\/7850\/5884\/files\/20211017031051_Map_3_-_Rivas_Dept_North_preview_0.jpg?v=1742228694","url":"https:\/\/store.avenza.com\/products\/1332303-rivas-department-north-eco-viaje-mapas-map","provider":"Avenza Maps","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
