The area is comprised of hardwood forest with rhododendron thickets, scattered wetland and forest openings.\r\n\r\nHunting, Trapping, and Fishing:\r\n\r\nA 500-foot safety zone exists around all buildings, picnic areas, campgrounds, and playgrounds in which it is illegal to shoot a firearm.\r\n\r\nHunting Opportunities: Deer, Turkey, Bear, Grouse, Woodcock\r\n\r\nTrapping Opportunities: Bobcat, Coyote, Beaver, Mink, Opossum\r\n\r\nFishing Opportunities: Blackwater River.
