This iconic landscape, part of the Black Rock-High Rock Emigrant Trails National Conservation Area, offers an unmatched variety of OHV experiences.\r\nRiders can push the limits on the smooth, hard-packed playa, follow historic portions of the Applegate Trail, tackle technical routes through dramatic High Rock Canyon, or discover secluded hot springs tucked into the surrounding mountains. The terrain shifts dramatically from the vast open playa to softer soils and rugged rocky canyons as you venture outward.\r\n\r\nOther Information\r\nMotor vehicles are permitted on designated routes only. OHV use is strictly prohibited on the dunes and hummocks surrounding the playa. During wet seasons the playa can turn into a treacherous mud trap even when the surface appears dry — use extreme caution.\r\nDispersed camping is allowed across much of the area. Primitive camping with vault toilets is available at Soldier Meadows, and a private campground with lodging and meals is available at Soldier Meadow Ranch (fees apply).\r\n\r\nThis extremely remote region has no reliable cell service and no natural sources of drinking water. Always travel prepared, ride in groups, and let someone know your plans.\r\nA true bucket-list destination that delivers freedom, speed, history, unique geology, and unforgettable wide-open adventure.\r\n\r\nHelpful Tip\r\nHigh-clearance 4WD is strongly recommended for most routes outside the main playa. Always check current weather and road conditions before heading out.\r\n\r\nThis version has a much more creative and vivid opening line while keeping the rest fully spun and engaging. Let me know if you'd like the opening line even more dramatic or any other adjustments!","brand":"Trusted Trail Maps Inc.","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46630993166492,"sku":"1787415","price":1.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0441\/7850\/5884\/files\/trusted-trail-maps-inc-black-rock-desert-ohv-trails-nevada-map-1787415-preview-0_86d7b19a-3c54-4998-9e9a-7216e8d7a40f.jpg?v=1775491645","url":"https:\/\/store.avenza.com\/products\/black-rock-desert-ohv-trails-nevada-trusted-trail-maps-inc-map","provider":"Avenza Maps","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
