That's why we split it in two.  We chose to begin the trip in Big Water, travel to Escalante and spend the night, returning to big water the next day. Though you could do it the other way around. There are plenty of Air BnB rentals in both towns as well as Restaurants though you might want to make sure they are open in the off season.\r\n\r\nYou will pass countless ancient dwellings, incredible rock formations and even a mountain on fire, it's been burning for thousands of years so no rush.\r\n\r\nThe trail is open to all width vehicles and there are no extreme obstacles though you'll be glad you have great suspension in a few spots.
