The Halls Gap community will no doubt welcome the support and patronage of visiting bushwalkers.\r\nMaps are provided for all listed walks. Walk titles and numbers align with those in the official walk booklet.\r\nNote: Walk14 Mt Abrupt 11 km Ascent 600 m 5 hrs One-way\r\nA rewarding climb to the highest peak at the southern end of the Grampians, with sweeping views of the surrounding plains and ranges.\u003cbr\u003e\r\nStarting from the Mt Abrupt trailhead, the well-formed GPT track ascends steep rock steps to the exposed summit. The descent winds through forest to the Mud-dadjug campsite (toilets, lunch stop). Continue along the GPT to the Piccaninni junction, with an optional side trip to Baingug. Finish with a steady descent to Victoria Valley Rd.
