From the rim: panoramic views of the La Sal Mountains, Moab and Spanish Valleys, parts of Arches National Park, and distant Book Cliffs. Behind the rim lie rock domes, fins, and downstream Colorado River gorge rims.\r\n\r\nSurface\r\nLower section: mostly bedrock fractured into ledges and steps.
