Clockwise, heading east you pass market gardens, turn south to experience the popular trail alongside SH74 motorway then after Styx Stream, west into Redwood Springs Park. If the trail becomes faint, just follow the Styx. At the western end in a sheltered spot you can enjoy the natural springs on a hot day. \r\n\r\nThe route then takes you into Redwood suburb, through Murchison Park and then to Main North Rd. I recommend a short side trip to the Redwood Bakery which has excellent sweet and pastry delights as well as various equally excellent breads. \r\n\r\nNorth along the main road, you cross over at a new ponding development then follow the poplars back to Northwood centre.
