The 360° summit view of Sagami Bay and the Tanzawa mountains is surpassed by the view from the Take-yama Viewpoint, below the summit of the nearby Mt Take. On clear days, Mt Fuji’s snowy cone-shaped peak can be seen from both viewpoints on the west side. If visiting in February, make sure to see the flowers at the Yadoriki Robai Garden.
(Text by David Couvreur)

Hiking Around Tokyo: A blog about climbing some of the lesser known peaks of the Kanto area by David Couvreur
https://hikingtokyo.com/2025/03/12/shidango-yama/

JAPANWILDS.ORG | Best Hiking Maps and Blogs in Japan
https://japanwilds.org

Map © The Hokkaido Cartographer
Email: cartographer@japanwilds.org
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0441/7850/5884/files/japanwildsorg-shidangoyama-avenza-export-map-1705494-preview-0.jpg?v=1748527924
https://store.avenza.com/products/shidango-yama-ti-hu-shan-hiking-map-kanto-japan-117500-japanwildsorg-map
