The OHV trail network follows old Forest Service roads that transition from high-desert sagebrush flats near the reservoir to lush aspen stands in the surrounding hills.\r\n\r\nIn summer, riders enjoy scenic routes with sweeping 360° views from the peaks, including distant sights into southern Idaho and the Jarbidge area. Wildlife is frequently spotted, though some trails have erosion damage and occasional large stream crossings that add to the adventure.\r\nWinter transforms the area into a snowy wonderland, with popular snowmobile routes along Meadow Creek, Point of the Rocks, and Haystack-Waterlog Summit roads leading toward Big Bend Campground. Ice fishing, skating, and cross-country skiing are also favorites during the cold months.\r\n\r\nOther Information\r\nMotor vehicles are permitted on designated routes only.
