Why can’t I access my custom maps?
The free version of Avenza Maps no longer supports custom map imports. As part of this update, previously imported custom maps have been marked inactive.
If you wish to access and use custom maps, we suggest upgrading your subscription within the app by going to:
Settings > Upgrade Account
Why can’t I import my map?
Custom map imports are no longer supported in the free version of Avenza Maps. Note that maps purchased from the Map Store do not count toward these map limits.
If you wish to import and use custom maps, upgrade to a Plus or Pro subscription within the app.

Does this change impact my Map Store purchases?
No. Maps purchased from the Map Store are not considered custom maps and are not affected by this change.
You will continue to have full access to all previously purchased maps and can continue to purchase and use new maps as usual.

Avenza Maps offers different subscription plans for custom maps depending on your needs. If you wish to access and use custom maps, we suggest upgrading your subscription within the app by going to:
