Map Store Return Policy

If you are not satisfied or made a mistake with your map purchase and would like to start the return process, we offer returns or exchanges for another map of equal value within 30 days of the original purchase date. Please follow the platform specific instructions below.

Purchases made on the website:


Please contact us here and select “Avenza Maps Support and Feedback Form” from the drop-down box. Include the reason for requesting a return or exchange, the map you would like to return, and your order ID, which can be found in your Order History page.

A member of our team will contact you within three business days and will proceed with your request. Please note that it can take a few business days for the refunded amount to show up in your bank account or for the exchanged map to be received.

Purchases made on Google Store: 


Please contact our support team here and select “Avenza Maps Support and Feedback Form” from the drop-down box. Include the reason for requesting a refund or exchange, along with your order number or Google Play Account number, which can be found on your Google Play receipt.

Purchases made on iOS:


To initiate a return request, please contact Apple as they issue refunds directly. To learn how to request a refund, please click here or follow the below steps:

  1. Go to Apple’s Problem Reports Page
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID.
  3. From the "What can we help you with?" drop-down box, select "Request a refund".
  4. Select a reason from the "Tell us more" drop down.
  5. Select Avenza Maps and click submit.
