We recently camped in the Alabama Hills and this maps was a real help in finding a site. It seemed to continue working even when my phone had no service and guided us effectively to the sites available. We didn’t realize that each tent symbol represents only a single site (although I saw later that the map does note that), and there aren’t a lot, so having the map to guide us efficiently was great and got us a good site as spots began to fill up in the evening.
