Map okay, trail was not

There is no difference between 4WD recommended and necessary. IMHO, Mineral Creek Trail - which is part of the Alpine Loop Scenic Byway - is for high clearance 4WD vehicles only (read somewhere it's rated "a STRONG 2.5 jeep trail"...
