CanadaAvenza Topo Maps
The 1:50,000 scale map worked well but unfortunately the borders of the map are included in the active map area, so it can be very difficult to scroll from map area to the next! Map scales of 1:50,000 lack details and free 1:25,000 scale maps would be much better. I’m only visiting in Canada, as I live in Australia & regularly use Avenza for all my hiking & mountain biking activities. In Australia, I can download free 1:25,000 scale Topo maps, without map borders, and easily scroll between adjacent & contiguous maps. Our National Parks Service also promote the use of Avenza & provide free map downloads with all hiking trails, so people can easily navigate their preferred route & rarely get lost!
