This was the first time I'd used a GPS driven map app. Avenza is far better than anything I've used before. Being able to track my location on the MVUM in real time was awesome! I also had a paper copy of the MVUM for a backup because I just don't trust my phone. My only disappointment with this MVUM is that that it gives you really no idea of the quality of the road as far as I can tell. I found some roads easily driveable and others barely passable that had the same legend designation indicating that highway legal vehicles are allowed on them. That was very frustrating to say the least (thus the 4-start rating instead of 5 which Avenza deserves).
