Map deleted mid-trek

Thankyou for offering the opportunity to give feedback. I used this map for a remote 6 day Herbert River Gorge hike. I downloaded both this map and the imagetopo for the same region prior to departing. The imagetopo was my preferred map w aerial imagery and the actual designated walking track marked on it. On our decent into the Gorge i was actively using the imagetopo and had my phone in my pocket where this map was deleted. With no mobile reception there was no way to retrieve it and no record of it in any other download location. This was quite distressing and could have been detrimental if we not had the additional topomap or another GPS for the following 5 days. The Ability for a map to delete accidentally is definitely a weak link in this application. I recommend having several locking functions on downloaded maps to prevent accidental deletion.
