This is a hike up Swift Creek in the Trinity Alps. The hike goes up a canyon, which becomes a valley with meadows, and then up to Swift Creek's headwaters at Ward Lake nestled in among the crags. It is 18.3 miles total up and back. Elevation gain is 3200' This is an enchanting hike.
