Map is great. Trail is Average
Map was accurate in showing exactly where we were. There were several trail crossings that it was nice to use the interactive map feature to ensure we were on the correct trail.
Best map for doing the Palmetto Trail
I did the entire Palmetto Trail this year and did most of it previously last year. I always download the Avenza Map for each Passage before I head out. Some of the Passages would be nearly impossible to do without Avenza. Even on the easier passages, it is still nice to check to be sure you are still on the trail every once in awhile. I have a YouTube Channel with tips for hiking the individual passages of the Palmetto Trail and recommend downloading the Avenza Map for the passage on every video. Hoping all the Passages are available soon especially Enoree - it was not on Avenza when we hiked it.
Great trail just needs more signage at the beginning.
