One of the features that Avenza Maps Pro users find very useful is the ability to export map features from the app, to use in a GIS application.
It's particularly useful if you have dropped placemarks, plotted photos, recorded GPS tracks or collected any other information in the app and you need to transfer that information to another application, or to another Avenza Maps user. For example, in the design of infrastructure projects such as solar and wind power, detailed assessment of the project sites are needed. Project managers can easily collect data on their mobile devices, then export the information for use in specialized modeling tools.
