Warren Abrahamson, Marketing Manager for Jamestown Tourism, is dedicated to promoting the town’s rich history and outdoor trails, alongside its famous world’s largest buffalo. To enhance visitor experiences, Warren introduced digital trail maps through Avenza Maps, allowing easy access via QR codes at trailheads. This modern approach has improved accessibility, offering visitors a seamless way to explore the area. The addition of digital maps has received positive feedback, reinforcing Jamestown as more than just a quick stop, but a growing destination.
Founded in 2007, the Tournée des cantons de Rawdon (TDCR for friends and users) is a not-for-profit organization located in Rawdon, Québec. Its mission is to develop and maintain a network of nature trails for non-motorized sports such as cross-country ski, snowshoe, fat bike, mountain bike and hiking. The trails are located in the wooded and hilly lands of the beautiful region of Lanaudière, about 80km North of Montréal.

The Arnold Rim Trail Association (ARTA) and its all-volunteer crew are the caretakers of this local gem. We spoke with Lauren Scott, a longtime ARTA member, about how they have been using Avenza Maps for years and what their recent deployment of Avenza Maps QR Codes has done for their organization and their visitors.
